Shilpa practices exclusively in the areas of immigration law, wills/trusts and estate planning and corporate law matters. She handles all immigrant visa matters for the Firm as well as Requests for Evidence for types of cases. She also assists the Firm's corporate clients with incorporations, powers of attorney, contract reviews, drafting of contract documents, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, collection matters, Audits, employee handbook, compliance etc.
Shilpa is a owner/partner with the Gokare Law Firm. Prior to attending law school, Shilpa served as a Case Manager at AID Atlanta and was responsible for initiating the Women's Wellness Day program. She has also worked as a Counselor in a drug rehabilitation center and facilitated individual, group and family counseling sessions. At the Georgia State University College of Law, her paper titled "Are Nursing Homes Nursing the Needs of the Indian American Immigrants? (With a Special Focus on Hindu Immigrants)" received the second place in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) national student legal writing competition and was published in the June 2006 NAELA student journal. Sarah Qureshi - Office Manager, Gokare Law Firm
In January of 2016, Sarah Qureshi became the newest member of Gokare Law Firm as the new Office Manager.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health. Before joining Gokare Law Firm, Sarah started her Public Health career as a Clinical Trials Research Assistant in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. After moving three times within the U.S. and deciding to start a family, Sarah ended her Public Health career in Washington D.C. where she was a Data Quality Manager for a global research company. For the next 20 years which included four more moves within the U.S., Sarah raised her two boys and also worked in the school system in Alpharetta, GA in order to continue managing her boys’ super busy schedules. With both of her sons going away to college recently, Sarah decided on a career change and found GLF to be the perfect fit for her life.
Sarah is from Elizabeth City, North Carolina and resides in Alpharetta, Georgia. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling the globe, nature walks, and attending arts and sports events.
Swati Kulkarni - Case Manager, Gokare Law Firm
Swati Kulkarni joined Gokare Law Firm in January 2012 and she currently is a Case-Manager for Immigrant Visas and is a vital asset within this product line. Swati handles employment and family based cases such as I-140, I-130, I-485 and NVC Procedures.
Swati has a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Architecture from Pune University, India & an Associate’s Degree from Lanier Technical College, Cumming, GA. She has worked in the Architectural field for nearly 8 years. Swati moved to the United States in 1997 and has had to personally navigate the complex maze of US immigration rules before becoming a US Citizen. This true to life experience has motivated Swati to assist clients of Gokare Law Firm facing similar immigration challenges! Swati incorporates all her professional and personal skills to be the best of her ability in this her adopted profession and it is very evident that she thoroughly enjoys her work!
Swati is originally from Maharashtra, India and has been residing in Alpharetta, Georgia for over 10 years with her husband and two children. She has traveled to many places internationally & within the United States because of her husband’s IT job demands. Swati believes in spirituality, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves watching movies, participates and volunteers in social and cultural events, and travels to vacation destinations for fun and relaxation.
Savita Anil - Case Manager, Gokare Law Firm
Savita Anil joined Gokare Law Firm in December 2014. As a Case Manager, she manages the processing of all PERM Cases.
Prior to joining Gokare Law Firm, Savita was a Teller Manager with SunTrust Banks where she managed a team of Tellers. Before that, she was employed with NIIT in Atlanta for seven years where she sourced and managed technical resources for customer engagements.
Savita has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from University of Chennai. She was born in Mysuru, India and has had the unique opportunity of living in many Indian cities through her formative years which enabled her to become a true polyglot. Besides English, she is fluent in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and to some extent Marathi & Guajarati.
Savita has lived in Alpharetta for over ten years and she eagerly participates in many Indian activities. She is an avid reader and loves to try out new dishes for her two sons. When she is not traveling, she loves to tend to her vegetable garden.

Vijaya Lanka - Case Manager, Gokare Law Firm
Vijaya Lanka joined Gokare Law Firm (GLF) in January 2012 as a Case Manager specializing in H-1B cases and since then she continues to diligently handle all H-1B visa cases for the Firm.
Vijaya has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, with over 20 years of banking experience with the State Bank of India (the largest bank in India with over 25,000 branches all over the country). In 1996, Vijaya moved to the United States with her spouse and two children. Before joining GLF, Vijaya worked for 2 years with Bank of New York in New Jersey. She gained excellent experience in Accounts, Banking, Financial Accounts, and Customer Service throughout her career.
Vijaya is a spiritual and religious person who is very involved in community events. She also keeps active in organizing Indian holiday events where she enjoys socializing with a diverse group of communities. Vijaya is an eternal optimist and she embraces everything and everyone that comes into her life!
Sumathy Sivagurunathan - Case Manager, Gokare Law Firm
Sumathy Sivagurunathan joined Gokare Law Firm as the Office Manager in January 2012 and was later made a Case Manager for non-immigrant visas such as: L-1, R-1, TN and other miscellaneous cases. Sumathy also has experience in handling H-1B cases & helps during our busy H-1B cap season. Sumathy’s multi-tasking skills & experience in handling our business clients in these areas has made her as a valuable asset to our Firm.
Sumathy has an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from University of Jaffna in Sri Lanka and completed Master’s degree level accounting course work at the University of Texas, Dallas. Sumathy worked as a Samurdhi Manager for 5 years (in a Poverty Alleviation Program of the Sri Lanka Government) and was responsible for the Government’s regional economic development programs for her areas.
Sumathy is from Sri Lanka and resides in Alpharetta for over 10 years with her spouse and two children. Preeti Baderdinni - Case Manager, Gokare Law Firm
Preeti Baderdinni first joined Gokare Law Firm as a Legal Secretary in 2010. Preeti is now a Case Manager since 2012. She has handled various roles over the years including client service and communication. Currently she fulfills the role of managing RFEs and is instrumental in ensuring timely filing of the RFE responses.
Preeti holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Gulbarga University, India and also has successfully completed a Paralegal Certification Course from the University of Georgia. Preeti moved to USA after her marriage and resides in Cumming, Georgia along with her husband and two beautiful daughters. Preeti enjoys exploring new places with her family and friends, loves watching movies, shopping and reading.
Ashwini Desai – Director, GokareLPO India
Ashwini Desai is the Director of Operations of Gokare LPO Private Limited, a Bangalore, India based Legal Process Outsourcing Firm which is the India Operation of Gokare Law Firm. Ashwini brings a wealth of industry experience having held responsible positions at: Ugam Solutions Private Limited, Accenture Services Private Limited, Thomson Reuters Corporation & most recently Talisma Corporation Private Limited. Ashwini’s expertise is in the areas of: recruitment, hiring, and training; strategizing for growth; planning future business needs; creating and enforcing policies and procedures; creating and implementing employee engagement strategies, employee rewards & recognition programs; and performance management programs. Ashwini has worked with senior business leaders to achieve shared organizational objectives, in particular, designing and implementing HR systems and processes to support strategic business aims. At Gokare LPO, Ashwini as the Director of Operations, will provide vision and strategic direction to grow the India operations.
Her goals for GokareLPO are as follows:
- Offer Consular Assistance Services to US clients attending visa interviews at US Consulates in India
- Coordinate EB-5 Investment Visa seminars in India and drive this business to Gokare Law Firm in US
- Scale-up and extend immigration back office solutions to other US based immigration law firms

Aditi Annu Sinha – Attorney, GokareLPO India
Aditi Annu Sinha is an Attorney at Gokare LPO Private Limited, the India subsidiary of Gokare Law Firm. Aditi is a part of Immigration team for PERMs. She closely works with Case Manager, Savita Anil and Attorney Manjunath Gokare in the US.
Aditi enrolled herself in the Jharkhand State Bar Council in the year 2015. Aditi is an alumnus of Alliance School of Law, Alliance University in Bangalore, India where she completed her Masters of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate and Commercial Law. Aditi has obtained a Bachelors of Laws (B.A. LL. B) from Law College, Dehradun, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun affiliated with HNB Garhwal University. She is an alumni of Loreto House.

Thivya Krishna is an Attorney at Gokare LPO Private Limited, Bangalore, the India subsidiary of Gokare Law Firm. Thivya enrolled herself from the Andhra Pradesh State Bar Council in the month of December 2015. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.
Thivya is an alumnus of the Alliance School of Law, Alliance University in Bangalore, India. She completed her Masters of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate and Commercial Law. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelors of laws (B.A. LL. B) from K.L.E Society’s Law College, Bangalore under Karnataka State Law University, Hubbali, India.

Sahansheela Sharma – Attorney, GokareLPO India
Sahansheela Sharma is an Attorney at Gokare LPO Private Limited, Bangalore, the India subsidiary of Gokare Law Firm. Sahansheela is part of the RFE team drafts responses to USCIS on all of the Firm’s product lines. She closely works with Case Manager Preeti Baderdinni and Attorney Shilpa Gokare at Gokare Law Firm.
Sahansheela has enrolled herself from the West Bengal State Bar Council in the month of January 2016 and she is admitted to practice law in West Bengal, India.
Sahansheela is an alumnus of the Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bangalore, India. She obtained her Masters of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate and Commercial Law from Alliance University. She completed her Bachelor's degree (B.A. LL.B) from University of North Bengal, Department of Law, in West Bengal, India.
Sahansheela has completed internships in a variety of areas. Her start was from the practice undertaken in the sub-division court, then the District Court and the High Court. During these internships her focus was on drafting legal documents, preparing Complaints and written statements. She has also gone through the process of drafting wills, and deeds of gift.
Apart from the above Internship, she has also been an internee in an NGO which was working for the protection of children’s rights. During this internship she has actively participated in seminars and village camps that were organized for the awareness of children’s rights. She has also actively worked in rescue operations of children from work places.
Sahansheela has participated in various seminars and has also presented a paper on Disparities between women in the urban and rural areas, prevention of domestic violence, prevention of gang rape and girl trafficking in Siliguri, North Bengal and other areas.

Santhosh S. Rao is is an Attorney at Gokare LPO Private Limited, Bangalore, the India subsidiary of Gokare Law Firm. Santhosh is part of the non-immigrant visa team that handles H-1Bs, L-1 and R-1 visas. Santhosh is being trained to independently handle all aspects of case preparation work for H-1B, L-1, & R-1 visa petition filings with the USCIS. He closely works with Case Managers Sumathy and Vijaya; and Attorney Manjunath Gokare at the Gokare Law Firm.
Santhosh has completed a B.A., LLB degree from SDM Law College, Mangalore, India- (2010-15); LL.M in Corporate & Commercial Laws from Alliance University, Bangalore, India (2015-2016). Santhosh has completed Certifications in Cyber law, Human Resource Management, Mediation, Environmental Law and is also currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR) from IGNOU, India. Manjunath Krishna (MK) is an Immigration Case Analyst at Gokare LPO Private Limited, the India subsidiary of Gokare Law Firm. He is part of the non-immigrant visa team that handles H-1Bs, L-1 and R-1 visas. MK assists with: Public Access File Preparation on all H-1Bs; Move to Premium Requests across all product lines; all Service Requests; obtaining credential evaluations across all product lines; L-1 file assistance and FTP administration. He closely works with Case Managers Sumathy and Vijaya; and Attorney Manjunath Gokare at the Gokare Law Firm.
MK is a Commerce graduate with rich experience in managing teams for service delivery, training batches of new hires, designing training modules and managing MIS reports extensively in voice based verticals of various organizations within the Business Process Outsourcing Industry.
Aparna Narayanpethkar – Admin Executive, GokareLPO India
Aparna is an Administration Executive at Gokare LPO Private Limited, the India subsidiary of Gokare Law Firm. Aparna works with Attorneys, Case Managers, Immigration Law Specialists & Immigration Case Analysts by setting up incoming cases and ensuring that required documents are received and cases are assigned to Case Managers. Aparna also handles sending out approval packages via FTP upon case approval in the US.
Aparna is a Commerce graduate with valuable work experience in front office, accounting and billing functions within various organizations.
Liz Dencil – Attorney, GokareLPO India
Liz Dencil joined Gokare LPO Private Limited in July 2017. Liz is part of the non-immigrant visa (NIV) team at Gokare LPO and she handles US Visa and Consular Assistance matters. Liz assists Gokare Law Firm’s Corporate Clients navigate through the various steps in the NIV application processes with US Consulates in India. Liz handles all NIV types including but not limited to: H-1B, L-1, R-1, B-1/B-2 and she closely works with Attorneys Manjunath Gokare and Shilpa Gokare at the Gokare Law Firm in the US.
Liz is a member of the Karnataka State Bar Council and she is admitted to practice law in Karnataka, India. Liz is an alumnus of The School of Law, Christ University in Bangalore, India where she completed her Bachelors of Law and Business Administration, B.B.A LL.B (Honors). She has completed her dissertation titled “Right to Privacy in India – A Constitutional Perspective” as part of her Bachelors in Law and Business Administration degree.
During and as part of her undergraduate and legal studies at Christ University, Liz has also completed several internships. Her most recent internship was at Pramata Knowledge Solutions, Bangalore, India. She has interned with Advocate Ankur Sood, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi; Advocate Conrad Dias, Standing Counsel for Railways, Kochi; Iyer & Thomas Associates, Chennai; and M/S Raman Kartha and Co., Advocates and IPR Practitioners, Cochin.
Liz has excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills. Liz is a fitness enthusiast who is originally from Cochin but is now a resident of Bangalore for over 5 years.
Nandu Nair G – Attorney, Gokare LPO India Nandu Nair G joined Gokare LPO Private Limited in September 2017. Nandu is part of the RFE Team at Gokare LPO and he is responsible for drafting responses to USCIS across all product lines of the firm and closely works with Attorney Shilpa Gokare and Case Manager Preeti Baderdinni at the Gokare Law Firm in the US.
Nandu has completed B.B.A LL.B (Hons.) from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin and is enrolled under The Bar Council of Kerala. He has completed his LL.M. - Corporate and Commercial Law, from Alliance University, Bangalore in 2016. Prior to joining Gokare LPO, he was employed as an Assistant Professor at Dr. Ambedkar Global Law Institute, Tirupati. Nandu has completed a 2-month internship at S & N Law Firm, Cochin where he mainly focused on Corporate and Civil Law. Additionally, he had completed a 2-month management project at Apollo Tyres Ltd., Cochin as part of his B.B.A, LL.B graduation.
Nandu was a gold medallist in LL.M. from Alliance University during 2015-16. He has presented and published a paper titled “Globalization and the Millennium Development Goals” in the Journal of Legal Opus of SDM Law College, Mangalore in January 2016. Nandu has participated in an annual workshop conducted on IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) Policy in India and several other national seminars conducted by SEBI, Competition Commission of India.
Nandu has also completed a diploma certificate course in Computer Applications (DCA) with distinction. Nandu is passionate about cooking & playing gully cricket.
